Well, yes, 1.5.4 didn't work because the previous version was 1.53. And 53 > 5.

Versions are not decimal numbers. They are integers, separated by periods.

2.0.1 will indeed work for you after 2.0. But note, don't call it 2.01
or you'll run into the same problem. In versions, 2.01 = 2.1.
