[theme-reviewers] Theme Option for AD Area

Please take note that WPMU/S installs do not allow javascript inside of the text widgets, so ad areas are highly valuable for those.
(unless something has changed in newer versions that’s how it was)

This, but not because of lost content. It just makes a lot more sense for themes to set up user-configurable widget areas than to set up ad-specific areas. Widgets can contain anything, and a copy-pasta ad code works perfectly well in a text widget. But without being limited to ads, as a user can put any widget they like there.
Making it more generic makes it fit more use cases.
