[theme-reviewers] Credit Links

If a theme hardcodes the links in the footer, instead of using ThemeURI or AuthorURI, what are the requirements for the links?

For example, a theme I'm reviewing uses a corporate website as the AuthorURI which is not appropriate for the AuthorURI. Does this also mean it is inappropriate to hardcode this link in the footer?
