[theme-reviewers] Post sharing options - Plugin territory?

When I look at the plugin territory guidelines I think it's pretty clear:

Themes must not incorporate the following: Content Sharing buttons/links

Last time I had a similar question about a theme, then Chip told me that 
links to social media profiles were ok, but sharing was not,
and now sharing is allowed as well? Could anyone please clarify.
