This sidebar would act as the (only) gallery. It would allow you to scroll vertically through the images. You would be able to click on any image in the sidebar, which would then expand in the center of the screen, replacing the previous image. The sidebar would not disappear. It would remain constant so you could continue to scroll/navigate through the images. The expanded image in the center would contain any title information you wished to include. 
There would be a heading as normal, across the top of the page.
