[theme-reviewers] #14656: THEME: Dental - 1.1

I am reviewing this theme it has some issues one main one being that it has a home.php file in the template folder. When i set a front page under settings->reading it works but if i change blog page to the page i want, i get content displayed from home.php.

This theme has an index.php and supports posts but it prefers to use home.php, which is completely static html content.
Is this allowed or not?
Also with the navigation it has to be set on main_nav for a menu to be displayed is okay?
