[theme-reviewers] Themes that do not have category, taxonomy archive

Hello,
I did a first theme review and noticed the theme to not have any Category or
Taxonomy Archive. Except on the sidebar, the theme did not display any
category or tag assigned to the post either on the Post Index or Single post
page.
Should such themes be approved or not approved?
Regards,
Harish

Hi,
Just a observation: I have reviewed several themes for past weeks. It seems
that the_excerpt() become the only choice in the main lopp (e.g index.php)
for may theme authors.. I know it is not required to use the_content() in
the the guideline. I just want to know what is your thoughts on this trend?
Stephen

Developer prerogative. As long as the single-post view displays
the_content(), then archive index views are free to use either
the_content() or the_excerpt().
