It is your burden as a developer, not theirs. And not any other 
developers burden to provide individualized free switching support for 
all of your users as you suggested once before?

This comes down to a best practices case and it is not even a little bit 
unique.

There are many WordPress theme repositories that do not care about this 
kind of quality issue. Fortunately WordPress.org seems interested in 
providing at least one that is.
