Despite the superficial similarities, the plugins and themes directories
operate in very different ways. They don't share any code to speak of.

Making the themes directory capable of direct SVN access like this would be
a more or less complete rewrite. I have thoughts on this for the future.
The medium-range-to-distant future though. ;)
