It seems like a simple voting system for new proposed ideas would be the
best route to take and eliminate the endless circle of debates that never
get us anywhere. It seems like dozens of people might have input for any
given idea, but then just a handful of people really decide anyways. Just
proposing that idea in and of itself would be a huge can of worms.
Seems like the most uncomfortable discussion to have would be is WordPress
really an open source democratic type community where everyone actually has
a say and can contribute or is it just a business with user-generated
aspects, or is it both, can it be both? And whatever the case, when does
something become so big that it's almost a public service and/or by the
people for the people.
