[theme-reviewers] Custom post types in a theme?

I've actually done what you want to do, but with a private WP theme; I'm 
actually going to be cutting that bit out and releasing it as a plugin.

But anyway, can't you do it with standard post taxonomy entries? Have em 
tag it as a slider category. Not as elegant, I know.
