Nothing, let it go. While it is YOUR theme, they can do anything they want to the theme. People looking for the theme will find the info on it correctly in the style.css and in the repo.
What you *really* should look at is this. (as stated above)
http://mywindows8.org/wp-content/themes/Anik/style.css Notice that you are still credited with the theme in every way. - Phil

Yes Daniel, it's strange this guy change it you can see here http://mywindows8.org/ and the strange thing he is asking question forum too for help. See this http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-catch-box-3-errors-and-2-warnings-in-w3c-markup-validation-service?replies=1
What do to in this type of situation?

Sakin

Damn touch screen. What I wanted to say is that changing the text to "theme by me" is a direct violation of the theme's copyright. You can't just take something made by somebody else and claim you did it yourself.

You cannot Sakin. If they change it that is their choice and there's no way to monitor/restrict it.

Hi Emil,
I have question regarding the Theme Usages. I hope this is the right place to ask. If not them I am sorry and can you guide me where shall I ask it.
1. If someone use my theme and then remove the Theme By: Catch Themes : This is allowed, right? I assumed it is allowed and if not then which license has to be use.
2. If someone use my theme and then remove our theme name and add their theme. Eg: Theme By: Catch Themes to Theme By: Nick & Mac. I think this shouldn't be allowed. How do i restrict it?

Sakin

Thanks Emil for making it clear. I though it was a manual process where all the approved theme push live together.

Hi Sakin,
Process is manual, which means that one of us will go in and start comparing approved Themes against WPORG.
I personally tend to push the Theme in right away, meaning if I go in and review (hypothetically speaking) 4 #1 priorities, they will be pushed live as well and most of the time the rest of the approved Themes too, but not every time :)
Let me check what was left and approval time behind them.
Thanks,
Emil

Hi Admin,
I just have a confusion and want to clarify the process of theme update. I am been regularly updating my theme and it has been a great contributing. I am very happy with it.
But I was confused when there was new theme update released in 11 Sep 2012 which contain themes which was approved after mine. But my theme was not updated in that batch. I though when updating the batch of releases it release all the approved once.
Can anyone clear me about this so that I can make my update process smooth.
Thanks a lot for your time
Regards,
Sakin (Catchthemes)
