Can I just add:

When you register, they ask for a password and email it back plaintext. I
don't mind being emailed a random password. But unless you're a little
paranoid (like me) and you've used a usual password, then you will now have
it in your email history. Which might be a long time if you use gmail and
synch a lot of devices here and there.

tldr; pick a random password when you signup
