[theme-reviewers] How to get a theme featured?

Trent,

I really wish if this list, reviewers, admins or even Otto can give you
better explanations why this happened, or who can be there or not, we
cannot even influence this much. As far as TC, Mashable, Smashing or
whatever, anyone can be there, "posts" on sites like that are paid, think
of it as Press Release that looks much like an article. Anyone can have
paid post even on Forbes, CNN, Bloomberg etc.

Was that accepted as special request? No, I don't think that's the case.
