Hmm, OK. I wasn't able to repeat the issue so I don't know what's
going on there exactly. I'm using PHP 5.3.4 with WP latest trunk
install, and the XML and the comment data are exactly the same after
an import.

If anyone else can repeat the problem we can look further.
