Hi Cais,

 

I will spend some time next weekend to write down some additional criteria
for reviewing a BuddyPress theme. First thing is still the standard criteria
for a regular WordPress Theme.

 

Most important tool is a mod of 'DeBogger' that displays only theme related
notices.

It would be great to see your general criteria ( at least how it differs
from regular theme reviews ) for doing BuddyPress reviews.

It seems most of the team is leery to do a BP Theme, it might help if we had
more of an idea what special items to keep in mind specifically as you seem
to have the best handle on them at the moment. This may even make for a
sub-page specifically for reviewing BuddyPress themes as well.

The four oldest Themes in the queue now are all BuddyPress Themes. If we can
take care of the current BuddyPress Themes, the oldest Theme in the
new/unassigned queue will be 7 days!

 

Do you want to take the lead on focusing on on BuddyPress Theme review? If
so, let me know your username, and we can just assign them to you when we
come across them in the queue. If not, that's fine, too.

Who is handling BuddyPress Theme reviews? If nobody can/will step up to
focus on them, we may need to hit up the BP folks, and have them recruit
someone to help us out.

 

p.s. Joseph, Otto, or whomever: can we get the default column display
changed for the Open, Unassigned Ticket report? I would recommend: Ticket,
Summary, Status, Owner, Keywords, and Created to display by default.
