How much CSS are we talking here? Because I see a maximum of 1 extra
SQL query. Store the total CSS to be output, minified, in one
string-based option. Simple. Easy.

And if you store it in an autoload option (which is the default, BTW),
then it's not even that because it's cached by the autoloader.
