[wp-hackers] wp-docs , 2 weeks+ out of service!?

I've now waited patiently for 2 weeks, monitored irc #wordpress and 
#wp-docs , modified the codex to solicit response ( 
http://codex.wordpress.org/Talk:Mailing_Lists ) , even pinged this list 
once before with the only responses confirming that the wp-docs list was 
broken ( 
http://comox.textdrive.com/pipermail/hackers/2005-January/003516.html ).

Assuming this email does nothing further to remedy the situation, I 
figure I might as well start my own mailing list and link it from the codex?

Plenty of things to discuss relating to codex official launch (codex is 
still /hidden/ to the average wordpress user!?), new pages awaiting 
movement from their current User: holes, etc etc.

Not trying to create trouble as a relative n00b around here, but I feel 
2 weeks buffer for ignorance is plenty.  Any comments, or suggestions?
