Ah, yes, that was the reason why I hate Sourceforge. I remember ;-)

It's actually currently not just a day or so - in wp-includes/ the 
newest file I can find is from the 12th. In wp-admin it's from the 
13th. Sounds more like "a couple of days" to me ;-)

Yeah, that works - but it's rather cumbersome to find all patches that 
should go together. Oh well, so I will have to wait until SF mirrors 
shuffle the stuff around ...
