[wp-hackers] CVS updates kind of slow?

Hi!

I just noticed a weird thing: there are only postings to the cvs
updates list up to 7th of January (at least in the list archive) and
several fixed bugs are not actually fixed when I checkout the sources
from CVS. Is the CVS the "toplevel" repository or is it some kind of
secondary storage that is fed by some background system (like some of
those CVS mirrors of subversion repositories out there) or do you
usually accumulate patches in some central place and do big commits
once in a while?

For example rboren wrote here that the active-plugins-bold problem is
fixed. But there is nothing on that in the CVS (and my install running
current CVS doesn't show active plugins as bold in the admin). Some
bugs in the bugtracking where marked as resolved and I can't find the
associated patch in CVS, too. This might be me being stupid, but
sometimes even a blind chicken finds a worm - but I didn't find a worm
on anything from the past days at all and I don't want to think I am
_that_ blind ;-)

bye, Georg
