I can't help but think that a generic baysian classifier would be very 
useful.  Imagine the following:

    * "Spamminess" ratings on all comments, trackbacks, pingbacks, etc
      in the comments view
    * Auto categorization.  You hit post--Wordpress decides where it
      goes, prompts you if there's an ambiguity.  Either based on
      categories that you define, or by adding its own new categories
    * Searching and archive views
    * Related posts functionality

I wish I didn't have so much homework....
