[wp-hackers] Menu Hook

Hi,

Is there an easy way to add in a menu to the WP interface, rather than requiring
the user to hack menu.php?  If not it would be nice to have a hook to allow a
plugin to insert its own menu automatically once activated.

Perhaps they could be inserted as submenus to the Plugin main page, to avoid
cluttering up the main menu list?  Quite a few plugins would benefit from an
integrated menu to allow the setting of options easily, and putting them all in
the one place would allow the user to quickly establish where configuration of
plugins could be done.  Any thoughts?
