[wp-hackers] 8bit ASCII characters in headers of comment-notification-mails

Hello fellow wordpress hackers,

i recently switched my mailserver to something i (will) have more 
control over. While doing this i noticed that the comment-notifications 
do not use 7bit-ASCII-encoding in the email-header. This is a violation 
of the standard and as such noted by my mailserver. All unencoded chars 
get replaced by "X" (looks ugly) :-)

Is this a general problem of php sending mails or is this something that 
we/you have control over?
