[wp-hackers] .htaccess rewriting

When .htaccess is updated due to a page being created / edited, any 
rewrite rules that WP did not generate are deleted.

As the recent links plugin does not - as yet - work, I'm moving data 
from 2 such plugin pages to wp pages. I put in the plugin's rewrite 
rules to access the plugin's page. I update the wp page, and I cannot 
access the plugin page. Checking the htaccess, the rewrite rules have gone.
