[wp-hackers] Will upgrading 1.2 DB to 1.3 break it for 1.2?

In moving my site to 1.3, I made a duplicate of the database except with 
a different prefix (in my case, I had "wp_" and "wp13_") and then 
installed 1.3 in a separate directory from 1.2.
