There *is* a 1.2 branch (the cvs tag is WordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch) but
these changes have not been made on it.

cvs rdiff -s -rWordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch-Root
-rWordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch wordpress

shows a few files changed but none of them for this security fix.

In fact some of the changes on that branch look like 1.3 changes.

cvs diff -wb -rWordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch-Root
-rWordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch wordpress

There is also a branch tag WordPress-Ver-1_2_1-Branch but I think that
has a subset of the changes on WordPress-Ver-1_2-Branch
