I'm seeing lots of spam comments too. Over 1400 deleted by Dave's 
excellent Spam Karma plugin within the last 4-5 days. I think it maybe 
let one through in the lot, but Dave patched the plugin since.

Easiest way to install Spam Karma is to install the plugin manager first 
(easy) -- SK is then just one click away.
