site_url is rewritten to the database very wrongly.

This was reported before, and the error seems to occur when certain 
sites are logged into using a 'www' address rather than one without.
I can dig through the forums and find the posts - a user on 
chasingthewind.net first reported it and came up with the solution - if 
it's of any help ?
