[wp-hackers] WP Patch day?

Maybe we should organise a "WordPress Patch Day" and encourage everyone
that's ever written a plugin to signup and "adopt" a feature request/bug
report and then submit a proper diff for it. 

This could be nice way of clearing the backlog of features request and
bugs.

If this is ok with Matt, I'll start a wiki page for it.
