[wp-hackers] User Comments Plugin

I just released my new User Comments plugin, which moderates comments 
from visitors that are not registered, logged-in users of your blog. 
This plugin makes use of the user_id column in the comments table. Does 
anybody know if/when that was going to be used? As it is now, my plugin 
puts the user_id (duh) in there, so if/when it is used in the future, 
there shouldn't be any problems.
