 Hi @studiocrafted

 Thanks for your feedback. I haven't been able to replicate, with no other
 plugins active than BuddyPress and in Twenty Nineteen I get the current
 classes, see screen cap below.

 Do you confirm this bug on a WordPress fresh install with only BuddyPress
 and one of the WordPress built-in themes actives ?
