 Use default WordPress registration page instead the buddyPress could be a
 good idea?

 These are my reasons:

 - I don't think this is an indispensable feature for BuddyPress.
 - It simplify the plugin core and the user registration process.
 BuddyPress require to fill more fields than WordPress in the registration
 page, which add an extra and innecesary obstacle to the registration
 process. The extra fields that BuddyPress needs, like name and last name,
 can be provide after the account activation, just like the user avatar.
 - User registration plugins. Now, if you want to use a plugin to add some
 features to the registration process, you need to check if is compatible
 with BuddyPress. And there are a lot of good plugins for WordPress for
 this. Also plugins authors wont need to add an extra compatibility for
 Buddypress registration.
