 I'm compiling some notes with feedback and questions, but I wanted to pop
 in to address the `capability_type` question. To the best of my
 understanding, we should handle it like this:

 (note that this is incomplete and sloppy, but it gives you the idea of how
 to integrate with our meta cap mapping setup)
