 I ran into some issues with tokens including backslashes and plain-text
 content not being HTML entity-decoded.

 `decode.patch` is an attempt to fix this.  I haven't looked too much into
 the filter firing yet, but I'm not sure why the
 `'bp_email_set_content_plaintext'` and `'bp_email_set_content_html'`
 filters do not cover tokens.

 The patch also includes a better "Go to the discussion link" for private
 messages.
