Comment:

 Circling back around to this. The query arg 'members_s' is ugly, and
 doesn't allow for translation. So I'm going to add a layer of abstraction,
 so that components can register their own 'search_query_arg'. We'll make
 this the reasonably attractive 'members_search', 'groups_search', etc in
 core, and plugins/sites can filter if they want.
