 The UI in the patch currently has a "description" paragraph that reads:

 which is exactly what you've suggested. Coincidence? :)

 I think it needs to be more inclusive. If a large chunk of text is auto-
 linked, then only small chunks of it, determined by an algorithm that
 looks for chunks of text shorter than 6 words, will be linked. This is
 pretty hard to explain, so suggestions are welcome.
