 I like `04.patch`.  I was thinking about splitting the title parts into a
 separate function myself when I was working on `03.patch`. +1!

 My only minor thing is the new `bp_remove_span_count()` function; it's
 only used in two places, so I don't know if it is worth introducing a new
 function for this.  We might also want to remove commas in there as well
 since it might be used in number localization.
