 Hi Jessy,

 Thanks for creating this ticket and for taking the time out to make the
 recommendation. Can you clarify a bit exactly what you'd like to see, or
 feel is missing? We have quite a few functions for various purposes, and
 between messages and notifications it's easy to get a bit lost in all of
 it.

 For instance, we do have the `bp_get_message_thread_view_link()` function
 for returning the URL to a single private message thread, but you'll need
 to know the thread ID first to get it.

 Let us know, and we're happy to look into this for you.
