Comment:

 There may be a problem with the underlying bp_get_name_from_root_slug()
 function, but that'll be largely eliminated with a move to rewrite rules
 in an upcoming version.

 As for the more surface-level problem that led to the discovery of the
 underlying bug, see #4631, #4726.
