Comment:

 bp_get_member_user_email() is a Members template loop function, which
 means it will only work inside of the bp_has_members() loop. Outside of
 it, no value will be set so it will return zero.

 If you need help finding an equivalent function, please post a message on
 our support forums detailing where you are trying to use it, and I'll take
 a look.
