 I have an idea for showing the date above all of the activity for that day
 in the stream, very similar to tumblr when you view a persons archives of
 posts. So for example, it’d say “August 14th” and all updates from my
 friends that posted that day would show. Then on to the 15th, 16th etc. Or
 if it was “today” it would read “today” and all of the most recent updates
 so far.

 Simply put, a way to fetch updates in your stream by date :) All of the
 above can be done from just that.
