 The logic change in bp-core-catchuri.php in [4484] includes subdomain
 installs (as did the previous implementation).

 You can only have a subdomain install if WP is installed in the root of
 the website. There will never be a subdirectory name in a subdomain
 install. The attached patch excluded subdomain installs from the directory
 check.
