 Thanks for your report. Core developers are aware of the issue you
 mentioned and they already put in a lot of work to resolve it, take a
 look:

 A beta version of BP 1.3 will be out soon and it will contain fixes for
 most (if not all) of those php warnings.

 You can help development by downloading and testing the latest trunk to
 see if any of those warnings were left uncovered:
 http://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk

 P.S.
 Use it only on test environment. Since the upcoming version will be
 considered beta, it is still NOT recommended for use on live/production
 sites.
