 I've never been able to recreate this one, but I have heard it and have
 seen it happen. This type of enhancement could go into
 groups_new_group_forum(() or bp_forums_new_forum(), and it could work in
 the way you describe.

 It definitely does not need to be option in the admin pages, but when
 patching it, if we abstract it to a new function, someone could always
 hook it up however they want.

 There's an edge case where people with existing bbPress forums with the
 same name as the new group would find the two associated together, but I
 reckon that's an improvement in its own right.
