 Hi sbrajesh,
 Yes i figured it's a mix between the wordpress username and display name.
 But looking at it from a usability perspective and from users who does not
 know how buddypress and wordpress is put together this is just going to be
 really confusing for them. As you said, there's really a lag in
 consistency here with a user signup- and displayname. I really hope for a
 fix/patch.
