 Not sure whether this is a bug or not, but in my opinion it should be.

 When you go to your profile and look under Notification settings, there is
 this option: A member mentions you in an update using "@XXX".
 In my case the "XXX" is written as "techkapil" whereas my username is
 actually "haloid".
