[bbDev] -1 years on bbPress Forum

i am following bbpress with great interest because of the wordpress
pedigree but i still seem to see no functionality for one of the things that
made wordpress such a powerful weblogging software.

BBpress seems to have urls like http://bbpress.org/forums/topic/88888

yet wordpress has
http://www.wordpress.com/2007/01/this-is-a-truly-sexy-url-and-works-a-treat/

i hope i have sent this and put this in the right place.
my apologies if i should have put it in a forum instead.
