 The most difficult I can think of is likely outlined above: multiple WP
 sharing a common, custom users table with BB. It seems to be working fine,
 now that the prefix is configured as it should be. :-)

 As far as I can identify (in BB anyway), the only real issue (and I
 believe it's mostly the same for 1046) relates to the prefix not being
 verified/validated during the installer.

 On a separate note, it would be sweet if the BB integration plugin for WP
 would set the user role to the WP default role when it finds a new user.
 I'm not 100% certain where I should report that one, but since you
 authored it I figured I'd highlight it here.
