 As the javascript and AJAX in the core can be combursome, it would be nice
 to have that functionality in a DOM object in external scripts.   This
 would make bbPress more pluggable for users that are integrating with
 other programs including Wordpress.    It should be more like Wordpress
 with this functionality in the core for the admin area, but called in a
 different way for the main functionality in the front end.  There has been
 discussion on this point in this thread.
