[backpress-dev] GeoPress - The Geo-Tagging Platform built on BackPress

Hello Everyone!

I've been following this mailing list for several months now, and have noticed that there are a few people looking for more examples (other than GlotPress) of what BackPress can do, so I would like to introduce something I have been working on in my limited spare time. It's a self-hosted geo-tagging / Foursquare alternative, and although it has several bugs and LOADS of features missing, there is now enough working parts for me to show it to the world, so have just uploaded it to GitHub and would like to mention it to you guys so I can get some critical feedback.

I basically took GlotPress as my starting point, and worked things out from there, where you can now create (public or private) maps, places and checkins...

Would be happy to answer any and all questions that anyone may have, and sincerely hope I have not trodden on anyone toes or upset the apple cart by shamelessly touting things here, but figured that some of you would be very eager to see another project using BackPress.
